The house was transformed in a museum in 1932 and the collections (furniture, works of art, carvings, books and archives) constitute today a unique ensemble illustrating various moments of European history. The ground floor is made of the Rhetorical chamber, the working cabinet and a superb renaissance hall. Upstairs there is the white hall, another nice renaissance hall and the library, containing one of the most important collections of works from the 16th century in the world.
