Hôtel de Ville de Bruxelles

Among all other sights, the Hôtel de Ville de Bruxelles is one of the most beautiful town halls in the country. The first stone of this magnificent gothic building was laid in the spring of 1402. Its reception halls and deputy burgomaster cabinets shelter the most prestigious tapestries of Brussels from the 16th, 17th and 18th century, sumptuous gothic woodcarvings, coats of arms of the old corporations and collection paintings from the city’s museum.

Visits in French: (1/4 to 30/9) Tuesday: 2h30 p.m., Wednesday: 2h30 p.m., Sunday: 10h45 a.m.; (1/10 to 31/3) no visits on Sunday.
Visits in sign language are also organised, do take information on the schedules.
