The lower garden, garnished with a well with coping, with rows of small houses on both sides.
The left wing dates from the 16th cy. And is made of a series of small rooms with a traditional kitchen, a room dedicated to St-Guidon, one bedroom, one guest room, the room for free lace-workers and the “bollewinkel”, reconstitution of a delicacy store from the 18th and 19th century.
The left wing is made of more spacious rooms, built anew after 1746, after having been burnt by French soldiers.
On the ground floor, you will find the bedroom of the “Grande Dame”, the meeting room of the Beguines dedicated to the Holy Spirit and a chapel, private oratory for eight devout Beguines. On the first floor, three rooms under the roof evoke the past history of Anderlecht dating back to the prehistory.
